CPACE Philippines, Gordon College host CFMS exam among graduating students

The CPACE Philippines has partnered with yet another college in the Philippines in support of its mission to produce future-ready certified financial management professionals, as it administered an institutional assessment examination with Gordon College in Olongapo City, Zambales, early in December 2025.

In a statement, Gordon College announced that it held its first Institutional Certified Financial Management Specialist (CFMS)
® assessment examination last Friday, Dec. 12, where 103 graduating Financial Management students composed the 25th batch of tests.

“With the steadfast support of the College [of Business] Administration, the initiative stood as a defining step in equipping students for professional certification and empowering their future careers in finance,” the statement read.

According to senior Financial Management student Carlo, the exam was “by far the most difficult examination” he had taken in his whole life, but it was an opportunity too big to let pass.

“This will definitely add value to everyone who wants to level up their careers as finance professionals,” Carlo said.

The examination was coordinated by Mr. Paul Eduard Tadeo, Community Extension Coordinator of Gordon College, and Mr. Nigel Silverstre, Program Chairperson of the College of Business Administration.

This is the 6th institutional assessment exam that the CPACE Philippines has administered this year.

As of writing, the company has teased expanding its reach to the other islands of the country, further exposing financial management majors to a future-proof professional certification.
