BatStateU, CPACE Philippines seal accord to expand students’ career growth
The CPACE Philippines has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Batangas State University (BatStateU) the National Engineering University to scale up its efforts to promote quality education and career growth among business management students.
In a statement posted on Tuesday, Dec. 2, the company expressed eagerness to partner with BatStateU in providing access to quality continuing education and promoting professional growth.
“Together with BatStateU, we look forward to empowering students and faculty in their journey toward lifelong learning, career advancement, and academic excellence,” the statement read.
The new collaboration between the two institutions will make professional certifications like the Certified Financial Management Specialist (CFMS)®, Certified Operations Management Specialist (COMS)®, and the Certified Marketing Management Specialist (CMMS)® accessible to senior business management students from BatStateU.
These exams allow graduating students to gain more leverage when hunting for jobs and building their credentials post-graduation.
The memorandum was sealed in the presence of Dr. Rowena Abrea, dean of the BatStateU College of Teacher Education, Dr. Bendalyn Landicho, dean of the College of Accountancy, Business, Economics, and International Hospitality Management, assistant professor Dr. Mary Grace Mandane, Dr. Expedito Acorda, chancellor of Pablo Borbon, and associate professor Regina Chriscel Delute.
The ceremonial signing came after two postponements following bomb threats that occurred last Oct. 14 and 21.
