NEMSU Tagbina in Mindanao to collab with CPACE Philippines after fruitful first CFMS® exam
A state university in Mindanao is in the process of establishing a partnership with the CPACE Philippines after a successful professional certification exam turnout last November.
According to Financial Management instructor Mrs. Ghyxanler Panganiban of the North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU), the Tagbina campus, through her initiative, is in review process of the memorandum of agreement with CPACE Philippines to broaden the students’ knowledge and career paths in the field of business management.
This comes after the Tagbina campus successfully held its first Institutional Certified Financial Management Specialist (CFMS)® assessment examination on Friday, Nov. 28, which they administered to 85 Financial Management students through a pen-and-paper exam format.
Mrs. Ghyxanler Panganiban said students from NEMSU’s Financial Management program have expressed interest in taking the next batches of the institutional assessment examination, especially after seeing the benefits of passing the examination during their job hunting seasons.
As of writing, both the CPACE Philippines and the NEMSU are in talks about how best to provide broader learning resources and encourage professional growth among the students.
There have been no announcements yet as to when the two institutions will come up and seal a feasible memorandum of agreement.
